Your counters

The titles, dates and styles of your counters are saved only on your device. They are never sent to us. If Android backup is on, they're included in your Google backup so you can restore them on a new phone.

Ads

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in the app, under Privacy settings. AdMob may use device identifiers to show and measure ads.

Analytics and crash reports

The app uses Firebase Analytics to learn how it's used, and Firebase Crashlytics to receive reports when it crashes. These services collect anonymous usage data and device information, never the content of your counters. Firebase Remote Config is used to adjust settings such as ad formats without an update.

Notifications

If you turn on anniversary reminders for a counter, the app asks for permission to send notifications. They're scheduled on your device.

Shared counters

When you share a counter, its title, date and style go in the link, so anyone who gets the link can see them. Opening it loads this website, whose server may keep the address in its access logs, as most websites do. When the app is installed from that page, Google Play passes the counter to the app so it can be added.

Purchases

You can remove the ads with a one-time purchase. Google Play processes the payment; we never see your payment details. To check the purchase, the app uses RevenueCat, which stores an anonymous identifier and your purchase history. RevenueCat never receives the content of your counters. revenuecat.com/privacy
